What can I say, apart from can we play at Wembley every week? I know he has not had a great season for us this year but bang! What a goal from Pedro Obiang. Well worthy of winning any game and it upset Tim Sherwood as well, lovely stuff.

But no time to dwell on past games, we move on to the 3rd round of the F.A cup which used to be a special weekend but now not so much and I blame T.V for that. There has already been an upset or two, and a sacking this weekend and there just may be a bit more drama left in for this weekend.

We travel up to Shrewsbury Town who are in a great run of form at the moment. They are 2nd in the league and just 2 points behind the leaders and have not lost a game in their last 6. Thoughts of having an easy game should disappear. I hope Moyes takes it seriously and plays a strong team.

When I say that I hope he plays a strong team I do expect some starters to be rested and some of the fringe players to be invited to push and impress and show Moyes that they should be starting. Obviously our current form is good with 2 wins and 3 draws in our last 6 games and long may that continue as we are still a bit too close to the relegation zone. Just 2 points ahead of the now manager less Stoke City.

I can’t say I know much about Shrewsbury but their regular on loan keeper Dean Henderson has not been able to get permission to play from his parent club, Craig MacGillivray. While West Ham have their usual injury concerns Arnoutovic, Antonio, Cresswell and Fonte all look set to miss out as will recalled Reece Oxford who took a knock in training. If anyone knows where Sakho is please let me know. We also welcome back Cullen and Burke from Bolton which could really bolster our options in the middle and at the back.

The formation is expected to be 4-5-1 with Burke at right back and Rice at left back.  A central defensive pairing of Reid and Ogbonna and then a central midfield trio of Cullen, Kouyate and Obiang.  Ayew will be an attacking right winger and Masuaku on the left with Hernandez up top.

Predicted Line ups

Shrewsbury Town : MacGillivray, Bolton, Sadler, Nsiala, Beckles, Ogolo, Whally, Nolan, Morris, Godfrey, Morris.

West Ham United : Hart, Rice, Reid, Ogbonna, Burke, Kouyate, Obiang, Cullen, Masuaku, Ayew and Hernandez.
Subs : Adrian, Samuelson, Quina, Haksabanovic, Martinez, Makasi, Neurfville.

Hart returns to play against his former team which is nice for him, lets hope he doesn’t feel like providing presents. It’s a strong line up and I think a lot of kids should be on the bench for this one and it’s not quite clear if Shrewsbury themselves play a weekend team in their effort to keep on their promotion chase. I think we will obviously win the game comfortably 0-2 with Hernadez getting a brace. Although to be honest, would anyone really be surprised if we lost????
