Following the success of our previous two years of events where our guests have included: Phil Parkes, Frank McAvennie, Stuart Slater, Alvin Martin, Steve Lomas, John Moncur, Keith Robson, Matthew Etherington, Martin Allen, Mark Ward, David Cross, Danny Gabbidon, Jack Collison, Julian Dicks, Ray Stewart, Dean Ashton, Alan Devonshire, Anton Ferdinand, Ian Pearce, Marlon Harewood and Tony Gale, we welcome cult hero Christian Dailly as our next guest.

Joining us from Blackburn Rovers as part of some of the Rio Ferdinand money and was one of Harry Redknapp’s last signings for the club.  Dailly went onto play 158 times for the club scoring 3 goals.  He featured in many memorable seasons finishing 7th (and playing every game) in Glenn Roeder’s first season and then suffering relegation the next.  Two play off finals (he also scored the winner in one of the semis) and an FA Cup final too are some of the other memorable games.  Christian is a popular player still now where his two chants “Christian Dailly football genius” and one that ultimately ends with “I want curly hair too” being still sung in the stands.

Dave, the West Ham Way radio show and I will also be around to meet everyone and we will also have free copies of the Blowing Bubbles Fanzine to give away too.  It should be a great event!

If you are still unsure on what a bargain this is then watch here:

The event will take place on the 20th October at the East Ham working man’s club from 11am-2pm. We are offering this event at a bargain £25 and this event is guaranteed to be a top do.   We have unlimited beer, cider, wine and soft drinks where you are certain to be served much quicker than any bar in Stratford.  You will not get this anywhere else!!

We have received nothing but positive feedback from all of our events. Here is another promotion video from our Danny Gabbidon, so you can see what a great event it is.

We have secured a number of top prizes for the raffle too and these are worth coming for in themselves.  There will also be a brilliant memorabilia stand.

Coaches to the London Stadium are also included and drop you much closer to the ground than you can get when travelling by train and by the Carpenters pub.  As usual former “Boys of 86” player Mark Ward will host the event with his usual Scouse wit and passion.

Make sure you don’t miss out and get your tickets here today as this event will sell out: https://www.tickettailor.com/events/thewesthamwayevents/204337#

We also have an exciting opportunity if you wish to sponsor the event. PitchDMM were the first company to take up this brilliant advertising package and it has massively boost their business. We now have Balgores Property and Zeelo coach company, both of which have benefited hugely from being involved.  These deals can be discussed by contacting ExWHUEmloyee through twitter, or Dave Walker too.  We also have an email thewesthamway@gmail.com where you can register your interest.
