Following recent speculation that Manchester United have made an approach to re-appoint David Moyes as manager which has been supposedly rejected by David Sullivan, our ExWHUemployee clarified the situation on the latest episode of The West Ham Way podcast.

A lot of media attention is understandably focussed at present on the managerial vacancy at Manchester United, following Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s sacking at the weekend in the wake of their 4-1 defeat away to Watford.

One rumour in full flow was that the Red Devils hierarchy had approached David Sullivan with the view to talk to Moyes about the possibility of returning to the Old Trafford hot seat, which Sullivan apparently rejected.

However, ExWHUemployee has reassured West Ham fans that this news story is not true and there has been no approach made whatsoever.

Also considering how well Moyes is doing at London Stadium, it is highly unlikely he’s be interested in moving on elsewhere, whilst enjoying arguably the best stage of his career to date.
