Manager David Moyes has spoken to the media ahead of our Europa League fixture against Rapid Vienna in Austria tomorrow night.

Firstly on team news the Irons boss said “Michail Antonio is not here, no. We chose not to bring him today, but apart from that Lukasz Fabianski isn’t here. We’re well aware of where we are and how we’ve been setting up, so we’ll be strong, but we know that we’ve got so many big games coming up now in a busy schedule.

“I think everybody would see during the competition that we’ve tried to make sure we mix the players in it as much as we can.
“We’ve got a good squad and the players have all performed well in the competition. We do want to use them all and give them an opportunity.
“We know the opposition are going to be tough so we have to go in with as strong a side as we can. It’s our programme which makes these games, new to us, certainly a bit more difficult.”
On the prospect of finishing top of the group, Moyes stated “I’d like to get the job done, but we’ve given ourselves a really good start and because of that we’ve got a little bit of room for manouevre. We’d like to get ourselves topping the group if we can. We’ve got ourselves in a qualification position, it’s just now if we can go a bit further.
“It’s going to be a tough game. We had a hard game [against Rapid Vienna] at London Stadium and it’s going to be another one tomorrow night.”
Finally on Declan Rice’s recent stir on social media with his singing, Moyes said “I don’t do social media at all! That’s quite a good tune – catchy! Do you want me to try it?!
“For me, the most important thing is Declan [Rice] prepares himself for every job. I’m guessing he’s not preparing to be a karaoke singer, but overall, he’s really good and a great lad to have around. As long as he keeps it under control, I’m happy!”
