The January transfer window is now upon us which means speculation about the comings and goings at our club is extremely high at present. The West Ham Way has our very own man-in-the-know ExWHUemployee, who will be providing regular updates.

Jesse Lingard
As revealed many times previously by Ex, Lingard is a top target and this remains the case. At present he seems very undecisive as he’ll be a free agent in the summer which could lead to a lucrative move elsewhere.
However, Moyes rates Jesse very highly and will try to convince him that he should make a move back to East London.
Gabriel Barbosa
We have had previous interest in the Flamengo striker although news in the media now is very much agent driven.
His camp are keen on him playing European football to help him gain a place in the Brazilian World Cup squad.
At this stage we are more keen on a loan move but this doesn’t look to be an available option and Moyes at this stage doesn’t want to take that gamble.
Lucas Digne
The Everton defender has fallen out of favour at Goodison Park and they are happy to let him go. It’s interesting as we are very keen on a left back and he fits the bill.
Moyes however does pay a lot of attention to the character of the player, and wouldn’t want to disrupt the dressing room. There will be research carried out prior to us making a move.
Ben Brereton Díaz
Diaz is someone we are very keen on as was exclusively revealed by Ex a few weeks ago. Although since then this has gained a lot of momentum in the press.
Malang Sarr & Joe Rodon
There is a chance that we will enquire about the availability of Malang Saar of Chelsea who is a left sided centre and Joe Rodon the welsh international centre back at Spurs.
Although once more it is unlikely that Spurs will deal with us. Both players have been linked before.
