Hammers striker Michail Antonio has signed a new deal keeping him at the club until 2024, with an option of a further year.

There has been speculation in recent days that our number 9 had penned an extension and this was confirmed by manager David Moyes earlier in a press conference.

Earlier this season, Antonio became our all time leading Premier League goal scorer and has played a pivotal role in our recent success both domestically and in Europe.

Moyes said of the extension and others in his press conference: “We’ve actually extended one or two contracts behind-the-scenes. We did Michail’s contract about two months ago, but we’ve also done another couple of players’.

“We’ve gone about our business quietly, doing some things behind-the-scenes and trying to do things correctly.

“We’ve got a few more players who have signed contracts as well. We’ve got a few. I’m sure the Club will announce it at the right time.

“We’re changing. We’re trying not to do our business in public. We’re trying to do our business in the correct fashion if we can and we’re getting round one or two players at different times and renewing their contracts. We’re pleased to have Michy’s done. I’m sure the Club will do something on it.”
