The eighth and final event of the season will be hosted on Sunday 15th May at O’Neill’s in Leytonstone before the Man City game. The event will be from 12pm-3pm, allowing plenty of time to get to the game and see any prematch Mark Noble tributes. O’Neils is a 5 minute walk from Leytonstone station which is 2 stops away from Stratford on the Central Line. The venue also has adequate parking if you wish to drive and leave you car there or drive onto the game. The venue is kitted out in West Ham kits, posters and memorabilia. There are screen showing classic West Ham games and goals. We have DJ Pulse on the decks (Dave Walker) and it is all you can drink on selected alcoholic drinks. The feedback we have received for each event has been amazing and I am sure this will be the case again.
We are delighted to welcome a double act of Tony Carr and Anton Ferdinand to our event. Tony Carr is a legend at West Ham having worked at the club for 43 years and before that he had been an academy player at the club. In 1973 he was appointed as Director of Youth Development at West Ham and during this time he was responsible for bringing through so many academy talents including the likes of: Tony Cottee, Paul Ince, Steve Potts, Alan Dickens, George Parris, Frank Lampard, Rio Ferdinand, Michael Carrick, Glenn Johnson, Joe Cole, Jermain Defoe, Anton Ferdinand, Declan Rice and of course the man whose day it is….Mark Noble. To go alongside Tony is the mentioned Anton Ferdinand. An outstanding graduate who gave some great years to the club including a promotion winning team in 2004 and a FA Cup final team in 2006. He was brought through by Tony and was in the team when Mark Noble broke through into the squad and played alongside him for 5 years. This will be a superb event that fits the special day. The game will be shown at the event, so even if you don’t have match tickets it is worth attending.
Our location is O’Neill’s in Leytonstone which is a spacious, comfortable venue that has a state of the art sound system and a large projector showing footage of classic games and goals. . For those driving to this event, there is also a generous amount of parking spaces available at no cost and the venue is easily accessible from the A12, M11 and M25.
