West Ham will kick off our Premier League campaign in typical difficult fashion with a visit from the champions Manchester City to London Stadium on the opening day.

It has been something of a recurring theme in recent years, with our Irons having now to square off against a ‘big 6′ club on 7 out of the last 9 seasons.

It may well be a daunting start but also one whereby David Moyes’ side can show we are ready to mix it with the big boys once again, having held Pep Guardiola’s City side to a 2-2 draw in last seasons fixture.
