New signing Alphonse Areola is ready to compete for the number one goalkeeper jersey this upcoming season.

The French international, who spent the last campaign on loan in East London before completing a permanent switch this summer, has signed a 5 year deal with an option for an additional, to commit his long term future to West Ham.

Areola was a key figure in domestic cup and European football last season, and the signing from PSG is now ready to push on further an become our Irons main man between the posts for next and many years to come.
