David Moyes is set to be thrust into the spotlight when West Ham take on Wolves tomorrow in a must-win encounter.

Our Hammers have suffered an terrible start to the Premier League season and currently occupy a relegation spot after 7 matches played.

This now sets Moyes up for arguably his most testing period as boss since his return to the hotseat, with the pressure very much on to turn around form and results fast.

Despite the understandable pressure, the West Ham board have full confidence in Moyes that he is the man to turn around this rocky period and at this stage have no intention of looking to replace him.

Our man-in-the-know ExWHUEmployee has confirmed that the Irons boss has the backing of the Club hierarchy.

When asked if the club are considering his position, Ex stated: “The club feel this is way too early. A top source in the club who told me that there is no better man to turn round the results.”

Moyes has accumulated much credit with the owners after guiding West Ham through back-to-back very positive campaigns. However, there is of course a limit to how long this will allow the Scot to turn the tide this season.

“If we continue to have poor results and fight end up fighting a relegation battle then the board will start to consider things,” added Ex.

“But for now Moyes’ position is 100 percent safe.”
