David Moyes has received a huge lift ahead of our Monday night clash with Bournemouth at London Stadium.

The Hammers boss has had to juggle his defensive lineup in recent weeks due to various injuries to his squad, and this was improved when Kurt Zouma recovered from illness to face Liverpool in the week.

However, Moyes is now set to receive another big lift with the news that Craig Dawson has recovered well from a thigh injury and is expected to be back in action to face to Cherries.

ExWHUEmployee reported on The West Ham Way Podcast that Dawson was looking good to make his return tomorrow night, and this has been further backed up by the Hammers manager.

Moyes, speaking to the press as reported by Football London, confirmed that the situation with Dawson is was looking positive. Although the match might just be slightly too early for Max Cornet, who although is back in training, is still not quite match fit.

“We hope both are back,” stated Moyes. “But it may come too soon for Maxi.”

There was also positive news surrounding Lucas Paqueta, who Ex said could return if the manager opted to take a risk on him for Monday night.

This again was confirmed by Moyes who dampened fears of any serious issue with the Brazilian record signing.

“I don’t think it’s as serious as we feared,” added the boss. “I know it’s an injury that is not normal for footballers.”

The news will be welcomed by all connected with the club as West Ham look to build on a recent turn of form, having chalked up 6 wins and draw in the last 9 matches in all competitions. David Moyes is very aware that Monday night is a must-win as we look to get ourselves amongst the European spots this season.

“We will go into the game knowing we need to win,” added Moyes. “We’ve got good form at home.”
