West Ham are interested in French international defender Axel Disasi, it has been reported by ExWHUEmployee.

Disasi is highly regarded and has plenty of suitors, with the likes of Manchester United said to be keen on the centre back.

The Frenchman currently plies his trade with Monaco, having signed for the Ligue 1 side back in 2020 for around £12m from Reims and has established himself as a key player for Philippe Clements side.

Ex, speaking on The West Ham Way Podcast, has reported that West Ham have identified Disasi as a potential long term replacement for the likes of Angelo Ogbonna and Craig Dawson.

Our man-in-the-know however did stress the the fee required to sign the player would mean that a move would most likely take place in the summer rather than the current January window.

West Ham have a number of players coming to the end of their contracts at the end of the season, and therefore it is expected the club will have another busy summer ahead.
