Craig Dawsons future at West Ham has been one of speculation of late and ExWHUEmployee has provided a big update on where things stand at present.

The West Ham Way Podcast host and famed ITK first revealed in June last year that the defender was seeking a move away from London, and it has now been widely reported in the media that Wolves have submitted a bid for the Hammers centre back, with boss David Moyes stating that the offer had not yet been accepted in a press conference.

Ex has reported the offer previously on Patreon however, our man-in-the-know has also revealed that the player is now likely to be omitted from today’s match day squad to face Wolves at Molineux in what is seen as a crucial Premier League encounter, with both sides desperate for points to get away from the bottom end of the table.

David Moyes then echoed this reveal by Ex when revealing that player is set to miss out on the match today.

Providing an update to fans, Ex has disclosed Dawson has a strong to desire to move back up north to be with his family due to personal reasons, and that a move is likely to be sanctioned by the club soon – as long as a replacement can be acquired.

“The manager is fully aware of Dawson’s desire to leave and head further up north due to his own personal reasons, reasons that need to be respected,” stated ExWHUEmployee.

“It is in fact our opponents at the weekend Wolves who have made a bid for the defender with the move expected to be sanctioned soon, particularly if West Ham can find a replacement.

“It is therefore a tricky predicament for David Moyes as far as selection goes. Whilst the player is still technically a West Ham player, he is desperate to move and could be playing for our opponents soon, who are also league rivals, offering a conflict in interests.”

Ex will keep fans up to date on all club related matters first and foremost on Patreon as always.
