West Ham have had a bid accepted by Aston Villa for striker Danny Ings, it has been confirmed by ExWHUEmployee.

It has been a fast turn-around with the club aiming to bring in a striker they have admired for a long time, with Ings a top target before is move to Villa from Southampton in 2021.

At this stage the player is still to agree personal terms and undertake a medical, with the club hopeful these can be achieved in time for Ings to be available to feature against Everton on Saturday.

West Ham have been starved for goals this season, and the recent news which was broken exclusively by ExWHUEmployee that Gianluca Scamacca could be set for a spell on the sidelines, make a move for reinforcements even more critical.

More to follow.
