The West Ham Way understands that the club are set to announce the full time Academy Manager soon.

Kenny Brown Jnr has been the interim manager since being appointed to the role back in November last year, and is understood to be lined up to take on the position permanently.

Our man-in-the-know has stated that Mark Noble was a key person in making sure that Kenny was given the position, one that comes with a great deal of responsibility in managing our famed Academy of Football.

“I am buzzing for Kenny,” stated Ex previously. “He’s definitely the right man for the job. His Dad is a club legend and he understands the ethos of what West Ham is about.

“His experience in this role at both Millwall and Dagenham & Redbridge is invaluable, plus the players and staff love working with him.

“I am also delighted for Mark Noble as he had the final say on this and I truly believe it’s the right call.”

We believe the club will make the official announcement of Kenny’s appointment in the coming days.
