West Ham manager David Moyes is under pressure and rumours have been circulating that Jose Mourinho could be in the frame for the Hammers hot seat, with ExWHUEmployee providing an update.

Our Hammers have to date endured a difficult campaign, with the club currently in the midst of a fight to remain in the top flight, which in turn has raised big question marks over the long term future of Moyes in East London.

The situation, as expected with a manager under pressure, has prompted much speculation in the press and online linking various other managers to the club should Moyes be released from his post.

One big story which has circulated recently has been that former Chelsea and Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is eager to return to the Premier League, with West Ham looking a possible destination for the controversial boss.

ExWHUEmployee has provided an update on the situation, stating that although the rumours of Mourinho are not true – but that the club are expecting Moyes to deliver now.

“The Jose talk isn’t correct, as the club have had no interest in bringing the current Roma manager to West Ham – that has never been an option.

“At this stage the club do believe a corner his being turned now under Moyes,” said our man-in-the-know. “But make no mistake the time is now. He has to showcase this and in effect its on a game by game basis currently.

“The boards intention has always been to stand behind Moyes which they have done, the belief is that he will turn this situation around.”
