David Moyes is set to be handed a huge boost this week with a positive update surrounding striker Gianluca Scamacca, it has been reported by ExWHUEmployee.

The Hammers forward has been absent in recent weeks due to a knee complaint, which Ex revealed he had been receiving injections for, having seen a specialist back in Italy.

There was speculation that the Italian international would be available to Moyes in the Chelsea match at the weekend, however it was reported by Ex that the player had remained abroad to continue his rehabilitation.

Reporting exclusively on The West Ham Way Patreon, our man-in-the-know has now provided a very positive update, by stating that Scamacca is now set to report back to training this week.

“The club hope that, having met with a specialist in Rome this week, that Gianluca Scamacca will be able to return to training this week,” stated the famed ITK on Patreon.

“This will give West Ham the option of three different forwards – when was the last time that happened?!”

It will be welcome news to David Moyes ahead of another north London derby, however injuries sustained to both Lucas Paqueta and Nayef Aguerd will have the Hammers boss sweating. Ex will be keeping fans up to date on the progress of their rediscoveries and all other club matters on Patreon first & foremost.
