West Ham have signed a highly rated Academy player on his first professional contract following what has been an excellent season for the U18’s.

Lewis Orford, who turned 17 on Saturday and is a huge West Ham fan, has put pen to paper on a deal which will run until the summer of 2025, it has been reported by ExWHUEmployee on Patreon.

The midfielder has played in a total of 17 games this season so far, has contributed 6 goals and 8 assists and received positive reviews for his performances in their incredible campaign to date.

Orford has also represented his country in the past playing for England U16’s who were managed by another former West Ham academy star (and an extra time podcast guest of ours) Omer Riza.

The West Ham Way is delighted for Orford and wishes him every success in the claret & blue.
