West Ham could be set to be handed a huge boost with regards to the fitness of Kurt Zouma, it has been reported by ExWHUEmployee.

The French international defender has been absent in recent weeks due to a hip injury he sustained in the 2-0 win over Everton just over a month ago.

It was a cruel blow in a season which has to date been one to forget on many fronts, with our Hammers now in the midst of a full scale relegation battle.

There has been good news this week however, with Ex reporting that Zouma has returned to training with hope that he will be involved in the crucial must-win encounter against Nottingham Forest this Saturday.

Our man-in-the-know confirmed the positive update on Patreon after photographs were published showing the former Chelsea centre back in first team training again as West Ham look to slog it out to remain in the top flight.

“There has been welcomed good news with the return to training of Kurt Zouma,” stated Ex. “Zouma has been pictured in the training ground and is hopeful of being involved against Nottingham Forest.”

The news will be a boost for under-fire boss David Moyes, with the Scot under huge pressure to get a positive result against Steve Coopers side at the weekend. If not, he could find his position no longer tenable.

Ex will be keeping fans up to date on the fitness of players and all other club matters on Patreon first & foremost.
