West Ham summer signing Max Cornet has issued a statement ahead of his long awaited return to help the club in a relegation dogfight.
It has been a season to forget for all connected with the club, with West Ham significantly underperforming throughout which has left our Hammers firmly in the midst of a battle to remain in the Premier League.
One of the key factors that hasn’t aided David Moyes’ side has been the long term injury to summer recruit Max Cornet, who the club signed from Burnley.
The winger sustained a calf complaint which in October last year which has meant the player has missed over 4 months of action, however light is finally at the end of the tunnel.
Cornet has now returned to training, as confirmed by ExWHUEmployee, with the player himself making a strong statement that he’s set to return and is very much up for the fight that is required.
“After several months of absence and work,” stated the Hammers number on social media. “I am finally back in the field to go to the war.”
