As exclusively revealed by The West Ham Way previously, the club have now confirmed a pre-season tour of Australia this summer, with ExWHUEmployee providing details on a special event set to take place.

Our man-in-the-know reported on The West Ham Way Patreon on 27th January that a tour down under was looking highly likely and then confirmed shortly after that would be the case – with Perth the confirmed location.

Ex has since revealed further details on the tour whilst also confirming that The West Ham Way are set to host a special Pre-Match Event with former players in attendance.

The club seem to have persuaded the Australian authorities to let the tour go ahead despite their league status not being officially confirmed in the top flight.

The Hammers’ pre-season tour will take place in July, with two friendly matches in Perth.

West Ham will play A-League outfit Perth Glory at Optus Stadium on Saturday 15 July, before a London derby Down Under against Tottenham Hotspur, again at Optus Stadium, three days later on Tuesday July 18. Kick-off times for both games will be confirmed shortly, with the Club set to be in Perth ahead of the two games to meet with fans and explore the city.

We had already been working with the official Perth supporters group and have a venue confirmed for a Pre-Match event. We will let you have more details of this within the next couple of weeks.

Ex will be keeping fans fully up to date on the tour with further advice on the event and how tickets can be purchased on The West Ham Way Patreon.
