West Ham tonight face KAA Gent in the Europa Conference League Quarter Final first-leg in Belgium with David Moyes blessed with an all-but fully fit squad with an exciting addition.
Our Hammers go into the fixture on the back of a much-needed victory at the weekend, with Moyes’ side grinding out a hard-fought 3 points over Fulham in the Premier League, which will hopefully add confidence as we recommence our European quest.
Despite having endured a difficult season domestically, it has to-date been the opposite in the European competition, with West Ham now regarded as favourites amongst the bookmakers to lift the trophy in Prague in June.
Gent though as set to provide a stern test for the cockney boys with the Belgium side in good form going into the tie, having won 4 of their last 6 matches in all competitions, without a single defeat.
David Moyes’ though has a strong squad available, with Lucas Paqueta available having trained all week, however the game has come too soon for Gianluca Scamacca with the Italian still sidelined with a knee injury.
It has been revealed that Divin Mubuma has travelled with the squad also and could play a part tonight, with Areola also expected to feature as he resumes his duties as the clubs cup goalkeeper.
Tonights match kicks off at 5:45pm and is being shown live on BT Sport 2.
