West Ham are looking to make a move this summer for an exciting young midfielder from League 2 high-flyers Stevenage, it has been reported by ExWHUEmployee.

Makise Evans, who is yet t sign a professional contract and is currently a scholar at Stevenage, is the youngest player in the clubs history to make an appearance for the senior squad.

The player who has been described as a ‘strong, powerful and raw talent’, was on loan at Potters Bar earlier in the season and became the clubs youngest ever goalscorer.

Evans’ progress has not gone unnoticed, with it reported that Chelsea are huge admirers, however West Ham are very much in the mix to land the exciting players signature this summer transfer window.

This was reported on The West Ham Way Podcast this week, with ExWHUEmployee stating that the club are impressed with the midfielder and could be set to make a move.

“Makise Evans of Stevenage is a player the club are very interested in. There is competition but the club are keen and at this stage are likely to make an offer.”

As well as Chelsea, it has been further reported that Brighton and Aston Villa are likely to make attempted to land the signature of Evans.
