West Ham boss David Moyes has admitted that he was unable to watch a big game which impacted our Hammers ahead of our clash with Manchester City tomorrow night.

It is once again a nervy time for all connected with the club, as West Ham seek to get to Premier League safety but with a run of very tough fixtures on the horizon.

Although our Hammers are 4 points ahead of our relegation rivals with a superior goal difference to most, there is a fear Moyes’ side could be dragged right back in the thick of it if a much needed 3 points isn’t found soon.

Leicester City and Everton played to a 2-2 draw last night which played into West Ham’s hands perfectly, although Moyes admitted when speaking to the press that he was unable to watch the game at home.

“I didn’t pay any attention to it because my tele wasn’t working,” said the Irons manager. “I had no satellite signal so I never ended up getting to watch the game. I was going through my phone so unfortunately, I didn’t get to see the game.

Moyes also stated that he isn’t spending time too focussed on other results and just wants to get the points needed to stay in the top flight this season.

“We can only concentrate on our games and look at what we have to do,” added the boss, as reported by Football London. “We’ve got a lot of big games coming up. We’ve got a big European night coming up in a week’s time as well, so we’ve got a lot of good games coming.”

West Ham tomorrow face the daunting task of facing current league leaders Manchester City, with the manager expected to rest certain individuals ahead of playing Manchester United at London Stadium on Sunday.
