West Ham have been handed a boost ahead of our Europa Conference League Semi-Final 1st leg with AZ Alkmaar, with a key player for our opponents ruled out.

Milos Kerkez who is a left-back , is a pivotal player for the Dutch side having already notched 47 appearances in all-competitions for AZ whilst scoring 5 goals despite predominately being a defender.

Kerkez has also to-date featured in all of AZ’s Europe Conference League matches, highlighting the importance the talented 19-year-old Hungarian international is for our last opponents in our quest to reach the final in Prague this June.

The talented left-back picked up a booking in the  leg of their Quarter-Final victory over Anderlecht which has booked a Semi-Final showdown over 2 legs against our Hammers in the final-4 stage of the competition, with West Ham currently touted as favourites to lift the trophy.

Although West Ham have endured injury issues with Kurt Zouma and Vladimir Coufal in recent weeks, it is hoped both could be back sooner than expected and could play a key role in the closing weeks of a season that could turn a difficult one into something incredible in East London.
