Jarrod Bowen has outlined his intentions for West Ham to finish this season the best way possible – by lifting the Europa Conference League trophy in Prague.

Our Hammers made history on Thursday night by booking a place in the Final of European competition for the 1st time in 47 years, with Italian side awaiting David M0yes’ side on 7th June.

There is no denying that it has been a long tough season for all connected with the club, with West Ham spending the entire Premier League campaign at the wrong end of the table. But the opportunity now to lift a major trophy could turn the season into an incredible one.

Bowen, who has rediscovered his best form over the last few months, has outlined he and his teammates desire to finish the season in the best way possible – by confirming Premier League safety this weekend and lifting that trophy in less than 3 weeks’ time.

“These moments are to be enjoyed with teammates, friends, family and the fans,” Bowen told the clubs Official Website. “It hasn’t been the best season, we’re not going to hide away from that, but getting into a final and staying in the Premier League were our main aims for this season.

“We’ve got two more Premier League games where we want to finish strongly and a massive final and we want to lift some silverware for our fantastic fans. We want to do it for us, and for the fans as well.”

The Hammers number 20 also admitted that although winning in Prague is very much the aim, he has called on everyone to enjoy this moment in our clubs history.

“It’s not very often you get to a final,” added Bowen. “With last year, I was disappointed to lose in the semi-finals, and of course we’ve still got to go and win the final, but in terms of getting to a final, you have to enjoy these moments with a group of players who are friends as well. We want to enjoy this moment.”
