West Ham are gearing up for another busy summer transfer window, with ExWHUEmployee providing an update.

Although our Hammers now have Premier League football secured for a 12th successive campaign having pulled away from the drop zone by 9 points with still a game to play, there are still question marks over what we can offer new potential players for next season.

David Moyes’ side could well be back in European competition for the 3rd year running should we overcome Fiorentina in the Europa Conference League Final on 7th June.

A major trophy and European football could well aide the club in attracting a higher-end calibre of player, however it appears that some names are already being mentioned as potential targets for this summer.

Our Podcast co-host and club insider ExWHUEmployee has advised on The West Ham Way Podcast, that some players the club are thought to highly admire and could well be making moves for once this season concludes.

It is understood that both James Ward-Prowse and Romeo Lavia of now-relegated Southampton are on the clubs radar, with West Ham likely to be strengthening in midfield especially if Declan Rice leaves the club.

Another is Manchester City’s Kalvin Philips, who could well be used as part of an offer from the Premier League champions should they move for Rice themselves.

Ex has also revealed that the club are keeping tabs on Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson.

As revealed previously by Ex too, the club are set to explore the Championship market as this has proven to be a model used previously to much success.
