The ever important Fantasy Premier League prices have been officially released by West Ham.
FPL has become more and more competitive over the years, with people using every transfer available to maximise points and budget.
However, nothing is as crucial to a successful season as choosing the perfect initial squad. Well now that process can begin.
West Ham’s highest costing player is Jarrod Bowen at £7.0m. All our defenders, including Fabiański, cost just £4.5m so there’s the potential for a good bargain there. Interestingly, Areola is £4.0m despite him, more than likely, being our first choice keeper next season.
Other notable players include Lucas Paqueta, Saïd Benrahma and Michael Antonio, who all cost £6.0m.
It’s important to note that only three players can be selected from the same team so, unfortunately, you may be forced to sacrifice some of your favourite players.
Additionally, FPL managers are limited to a budget of just £100.0m so it’s important to try and find cheap gems to take a risk on.
The deadline for gameweek 1 is the 11th of August at 6:30pm. Some may prefer to wait to see how the transfer window plays out before deciding on a squad, while others like to lay out the foundations early.
Whether you’re someone who takes FPL deadly serious, someone who has forfeits with mates over it or someone who gives up after three weeks following an awful start – there’s nothing quite like fantasy football to start the excitement for the coming Premier League season.
