West Ham are set to release their new away kit for the 2023/24 season soon, according to ExWHUemployee.

The Hammers unveiled their new “Anthem” home strip for the upcoming season on Monday and look set to reveal the away kit imminently.

Ex has exclusively revealed that West Ham’s away strip will be all white, with a claret collar and a silver badge. If it has been designed correctly, the kit sounds like it could be very popular amongst fans.

Umbro have been hit and miss in recent years and there have been plenty of mixed reviews surrounding this year’s home kit, with many feeling a distinct lack of effort given the club’srecent success in the Conference League finals.

However, the news from Ex is encouraging the mockup kits floating around Twitter have looked smart so given the simplicity of the colour scheme, you would think it would be hard for Umbro to mess this one up.

West Ham have had plenty of white away shirts in recent years with Umbro and even donned one last season. The 2022/23 third kit had flames at the bottom and although it was questionable, the shirt has now become iconic after it was worn in the final against Fiorentina.

The best white strip in recent memory came in 2018/19 when Manuel Pellegrini was in charge of the Hammers. The kit was all white with claret and blue stripes around the collar and sleeves and was incredibly smart. Given it was based on a retro design from 1980, it instantly became a classic.
