West Ham Women announce new arrival, Rick Passmoor, as team Assistant Manager.
.The club have confirmed the new edition to the Women’s coaching team, who joins the Hammers from FA Women’s National League Division One North side, Leeds United.
Passmoor led his former team to sixth place last season, and has had a very successful career with lots of experience. Along side their sixth place finish, he has also helped the team to reach the FA Cup Final in 2008, aswell as winning the League Cup in 2010 and has also been nominated as Manager of the Season during the clubs time in the Women’s Super League.
His success continued and in 2015 he helped Notts County to the FA Cup Final, but were narrowly beaten by Chelsea.
Passmoor was also Head of Academy Coaching and Coach Development at Scunthorpe United where he spent four years, before rejoining Leeds in 2022. He also played for Scunthorpe between 1984 and 1987 before joining them in the managerial role.
The new Assistant Manager will join Rehanne Skinner & new Goal Keeper Coach Chris Pipe ahead of the 23/24 Women’s Super League Season.

“I had a phone call with Rehanne a couple of weeks ago and I knew instantly that this would be a fantastic opportunity for me. We both know what direction we would like to take the Club in and, although it won’t happen overnight, we have a chance to build something special here and I’m really looking forward to being a part of that.
“I’ve had a fantastic welcome from everyone and it’s clear to see that there are a lot of good people in the building. Now it’s time for us all to knuckle down and work together to ensure that we’re in the best possible place come the start of the season on 1 October.”
Skinner also spoke on the new appointment to West Ham’s Official Website.
“I’m delighted to welcome Rick into my coaching team at West Ham United,” said Skinner.
“Rick has an incredible amount of knowledge and experience over a significant number of years in the game and has been instrumental in developing senior internationals over the years.
“We both have a similar approach to coaching our players and I have no doubt that his energy will help elevate the way that we operate as a group. I’m really looking forward to working with him moving forwards.”
