West Ham have drawn Lincoln City in the Carabao Cup 3rd round, with our Podcast host giving his thoughts on the draw.

Our Hammers will travel to LNER Stadium to face the League One side on the week commencing 25th September, with West Ham hungry for more silverware this season.

The last campaign saw West Ham claim our first major piece of silverware in 47 years, with our epic triumph in the Europa Conference League final against Fiorentina in Prague.

The club have since started the new season well, currently sitting in 4th spot as we go into the first international break, with a newfound belief that more success for the club isn’t far away.

The Carabao Cup is a trophy very much in the cross hairs, with our Sporting Director and former captain already stating that the club are eager to add more to the trophy cabinet in the coming years.

West Ham have now been drawn against League One side Lincoln City in the 3rd round, with our ExWHUEmployee stating that although he is excited for the match, West Ham need to be wary of our opponents.

“I am excited for the draw,” stated our Podcast co-host and club insider. “Although Lincoln won’t be as push over as they have started their League One campaign well, it is a draw that could have been a lot worse.

“What is also good about the draw is that there are many all Premier League ties. I have never been to Lincoln before either so it’s another ground I can tick off!”
