West Ham midfielder Pablo Fornals is seeing significant interest from clubs from the Saudi league, it has been reported.

The Spaniard, who joined West Ham 4 years ago, has become a huge fan favourite in east London, having produced many moments to remember whilst embracing the East End culture.

Despite this though Fornals has struggled to cement hiss place as a regular starter under David Moyes in recent months, although there is no denying his importance to the squad.

It is understood that West Ham do not want to lose Fornals, with new contract talks expected – however reports suggest that there is interest from the Saudi League, with clubs eyeing a move before their transfer window closes on 7th September.

According to Football Insider, there are a number of clubs from the region keen, although it is not known whether the player would be open to a move.

“It is believed that Fornals has been identified by clubs in the fast-growing league as a potential target,” it stated in the report.

“The 27-year-old has made 184 total appearances for the east London outfit, notching 23 goals and 19 assists.

“However, he is yet to sign a contract extension since arriving at the club in a reported £24million deal four years ago.”
