Jarrod Bowens future at West Ham continues to be speculated with talks over a new deal stalling, according to reports.
The Hammers winger, who has been in exceptional form this season – prompting many calls for him to be selected for the England squad again, is in talks with the club over a new deal.
The ongoing situation without resolution yet has created a somewhat uncertainty regarding his long term future, with Football Fan Cast reporting that the player make seek a move to further his international football aspirations.
“Earlier in the summer, it was reported the Englishman was close to agreeing terms to remain at the London Stadium, with only the minor details needing to be ironed out, but talks have presumably stalled, as there has been no progress on that front,” it stated.
“As such, there is lingering doubt over the 26-year-old’s future with the Irons, and Jacobs has now suggested he may be forced to seek a move to boost his chances of playing for England.”
However Ben Jacobs on GIVEMESPORT believes that Bowen will feel being at West Ham is a good place for him to realise his ambitions.
“Bowen is obviously content enough that he stands a chance, just by being at West Ham, to fight and get into the mix for Euro 2024,” stated Jacobs. “Otherwise, he would have probably pushed a little bit harder to go last summer, so I don’t think England’s a factor in this.”
One thing is for certain though, West Ham will want to get this speculation put to bed and Bowen committed for the long term soon. So it remains to be seen if a deal between the two parties can be struck.
