West Ham winger Jarrod Bowen is a doubt for Sundays clash with Liverpool at Anfield.
Our Hammers number 20 has unfortunately contracted a virus, and although has made steps in recovery, it is unknown at this stage if he will be available to selection for David Moyes.
The manager has admitted that Bowen has been unwell when discussing the weekends match to the press, with it understood that a late decision will be made on his match fitness.
“Jarrod Bowen has had a virus and we’ll need to see how he is for the weekend,” Moyes stated as reported by the club’s Official Website.
We have subsequently been advised by ExWHUEmployee that Bowen will undertake a late fitness test and therefore at this stage it is not known if he will feature on Sunday.
Bowen has been a vital cog in the clubs excellent start to the season, so it will be hoped by all that he can prove his fitness and be available as our Hammers get set to take on Jurgen Klopps Reds tomorrow.
David Moyes is expecting his West Ham side to show Liverpool what we are about this season, and admits that we have given them stern tests in recent seasons, with the hope we can go better and get the victory on Merseyside this weekend.
“We’ve tried to make it tough for them to get points from us, and we’ll try to give them another good game on Sunday,” said the boss. “We know we’re playing against a really good side and we have to go and show what we can do.”
