West Ham Academy star George Earthy has signed a new contract, it has been confirmed by the club.

Our young Hammer has penned a 3 year deal to remain in east London as he continues his progression under the watchful eye of Kenny Brown and the team within our famed Academy of Football.

As was originally and exclusively reported by our club insider ExWHUEmployee on Patreon on 30th August, the highly rated attacking midfielder will now continue to work with the U21’s following their positive start to the season.

“I am buzzing to continue my journey at West Ham,” Earthy told the clubs Official Website. “It means a lot to play for the team you support – and this contract is a massive vote of confidence in myself as a player going forwards.

“I want to push on now and keep showing everyone what I can do when playing for the U21s this season.”

Our Podcast co-host and insider Ex was equally delighted to see the young talent commit his future to West Ham, and believes he is one of a number of this crop that can make it to the senior team one day.

“He is one of the many brilliant prospects currently playing in the academy and has a great chance of making it,” stated Ex.

“He really stood out during our trophy winning year last year, and has carried this form into the under 21s. He is fully deserving of the new year 3 year deal and I look forward to seeing him continue his development.

“His family are massive West Ham fans and this is always an added bonus too.”
