West Ham are hopeful of tying down Jarrod Bowen to a new contract, with talks over an improved contract continuing.

Bowen has been in fine form in the opening matches of the 23/24 season, scoring four goals and assisting one, including a goal in yesterday’s defeat to Liverpool.

According to 90min, West Ham have been looking to extend Bowen’s contract for well over a year due to his performances in both the league and European competitions, as well as being called up by Gareth Southgate for England. As per ExWHUEmployee, the winger would like to be one of the club’s highest earners in his new deal.

Whilst an agreement is yet to have been reached over a new deal for Bowen, West Ham remain hopeful that he will extend his contract. Bowen’s current contract expires in the summer of 2025, but ideally, the club would like to extend as soon as possible. The winger has been a subject of interest for many clubs over the years, but a more notable club that has shown interest is yesterday’s opponents – Liverpool.

As per 90min, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been a long-time admirer of Bowen; specifically his reliability and consistency. With Saudi Arabian side Al Ittihad looking to secure the services of Mohamed Salah, Liverpool could turn to the West Ham winger in a bid to replace their Egyptian superstar.
