West Ham have received a major lift ahead of our clash with Newcastle next Sunday, it has been reported.

Our Hammers face the Magpies at the London Stadium on Sunday with just one point separating both clubs with West Ham ahead in 7th spot – knowing a win would really set the tone ahead of the international break.

Newcastle though, despite a somewhat slow start to the campaign, have discovered their form and are likely to prove a stern test for David Moyes side.

However, West Ham have been handed a big injury & suspension boost ahead of the game next weekend, with Eddie Howe set to be missing a number of key players.

As reported The Shields Gazette, Anthony Gordon will suspended for the match at the London Stadium following his 5th yellow card on Saturday.

Sven Botman and Joelinton both have injuries which will rule them out of the game, while Calum Wilson is a major doubt with a hamstring injury.

West Ham will be eager to take advantage of the situation at Newcastle, being in the knowledge that a win would send a message that our Hammers are very much in the hunt for another European spot this season.
