West Ham have signed the highly-rated Josh Ajala on a 2-year contract, it has been exclusively reported by ExWHUEmployee.

Ajala, who our Hammers took on board with the player formally at London rivals Chelsea, has greatly impressed since arriving in east London ahead of the current season.

Playing under Kevin Keen, the pacy 16-year old has been a stand-out player – with the club keen to secure his long term future, which has been reported by Ex to have been done with his first professional contract.

“We can exclusively reveal that Josh Ajala, a highly rated under 16s forward, who we picked up from Chelsea, has signed his first professional contract with the club,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Patreon. This is said to be a 2 year deal with an option of a 3rd.”

Ex has also revealed that the deal will commence on November 13th, which is when it is expected to be officially confirmed by the Club.

Ajala himself has already stated his delight in playing for West Ham, and has admitted that moving over from west London has been a real positive for him.

“I’ve really enjoyed it so far,” Ajala said, as was reported on whufc.com. “I felt like I needed a change, and the transition from Chelsea to West Ham has been really good for me.

“I’m pleased with the way that I’ve started too. I’ve received a really warm welcome from West Ham and I feel like this Club suits the way that I play. It’s all been really good for me so far.”
