West Ham must be bold and attack Nottingham Forest this afternoon, in what is a crucial game to get things on track.
That is the view of Dave Walker, after David Moyes’ side have suffered a terrible dip in form in recent weeks, which has subsequently put the club in the bottom half after such a blistering start.
Our Hammers are going into the game off the back of 3 successive Premier League defeats, which has taken the club from chasing top 5, to now sitting in 13th place.
A worrying drop needs to be addressed quickly, and David Moyes will know that it has to start today as we face Forest at the London Stadium.
The West Ham Way Podcast hosts Dave Walker and ExWHUEmployee are of the shared opinion that today is a win at all costs scenario. Knowing defeat would put significant pressure on the West Ham manager.
“It’s a massive game for West Ham today, and we really need a run to stop the rut and go into the international break with a positive result behind us,” stated our club insider ExWHUemployee.
“It will be a tricky game, especially as Forest are on the back of a great win against Aston Villa last week.”
Dave Walker shared the importance of the game, staying that West Ham cannot be cautious and instead go all out to attack the visitors.
“I’m expecting at least 4 points from the next two games starting with a win against Forest,” said Walker. “But we’re are gonna have to massively improve to get it. I want to see us take control of the game early on and be brave in attack”
