West Ham goalkeeper Alphonse Areola says the team are prepared to fight all the way to achieve success again this season.
Our Hammers goalkeeper was in fine form at the weekend when he pulled off some excellent saves once again, to help West Ham gain a vital victory over Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.
The French international goalkeeper who has been promoted to the clubs first choice goalkeeper this season, was last month awarded the save of the month in the Premier League – highlighting his outstanding ability between the posts.
“It’s always great to help the team,” said the Irons keeper. “In the end, the collective is the most important thing and I’m very happy to do my part.
“I’ve been working all my life to play and to perform. Hopefully I can keep pushing like that and help the team pick up more points”
Is hoped that West Ham can now push on and get the season back on track following a difficult month – after picking up the much needed three points on Sunday.
The West Ham goalkeeper has admitted, when speaking to the club’s Official Website that the team are hungry for even more success this season.
“We can go, like last season, until the very end, then we’ll fight for everything and be ready for it,” added Areola “We’ll prepare our bodies and there’s a lot that’s in our heads too, so we’ll fight for all of it.”
