West Ham’s U21’s side produced another positive display as they overcame Brentford reserves in a behind closed doors friendly, it has been reported by ExWHUEmployee.

Our young Academy of Football side continued to show their huge promise, with a number of players once again pointing to a very bright future ahead, with the umcoming January transfer window posing an interesting time, with some touted to be loaned to gain further experience in their development.

Reporting exclusively on The West Ham Way Patreon, Ex provided details on the match while also advising that a number of clubs are eyeing potential short-terms deals with the club in the new year.

“The U21’s won 2-0, the first goal came from summer signing and Republic of Ireland U19’s international, Sean Moore after he was assisted by the talented England Under 18s international, who is still only 17, Lewis Orford,” reported our club insider.

“The next goal was scored by another 17-year old England U18’s player, in left back Ollie Scarles, who was assisted by yet another England capped player, in exciting midfielder George Earthy.

“This group of youngsters is arguably one of the best all round groups of young talent we have ever had.

“Many clubs will be circulating in January to try and see if they can secure loan moves. It will be a crucial decision in their development as to whether they are allowed to go and gain experience, and to make sure that the right club is chosen where they will play. We will keep you up to date with any potential moves.”

Ex also reported that Romeo Beckham featured for the visitors Brentford at Rush Green, with his father David Beckham in attendance to watch the match.
