West Ham boss David Moyes has given a big update on the clubs ambitions in the current transfer window following our loss to Bristol City.
Our Hammers were dumped out of the FA Cup after a disappointing overall performance over the 2 matches against the Robins, as the Championship side deservedly advanced to the 4th round, although it must be said the tactics to get there were questionable.
West Ham found themselves on the back of some very aggressive challenges througout, with the tie causing much disruption to the health of Moyes’ squad as we now look to get things back on track with a trip to Sheffield United on Sunday in the Premier League.
A noticeable point from both matches against Bristol City was the issues regarding lack of squad depth, with many hoping to see the club be active in this current January transfer window.
Although there has been some doubt in some quarters, West Ham manager David Moyes has confirmed that the club are looking to strengthen the squad, with the hope being that some positive news will follow soon.
“I’ll say yes to that,” said the West Ham manager, when asked by the press following the loss to the Championship side, as reported by the Evening Standard.
“The truth is we’ll try and do some business. Undoubtedly, there’s a desire from the club to try and do something and from me and everybody there.”
