Pablo Fornals showed his love for West Ham in one of his first interviews as a Real Betis player.

You would struggle to find a single West Ham fan who does not absolutely adore Pablo Fornals. He instantly won the hearts of supporters and solidified his name in East London folklore with his last minute goal against AZ Alkmaar.

Sadly, the Spaniard’s time at the London Stadium came to an end in the last transfer window, but that does not mean his love for the Hammers is gone. In fact, he has recently spoken on just how much West Ham means to him.

“I identified so much with West Ham,” he stated following his move to Real Betis. “I was so happy with my time there that I couldn’t see myself playing for any other team in England other than West Ham. That’s why my reference to my time there was running out.”

Pablo played 152 games in claret and blue, scoring 16 goals in that time. His passion and work rate embodied what it means to be a West Ham player and it is fair to say that he will live on long in the memory of the East London faithful.
