West Ham are under significant pressure today to respond to the humiliating hammering against Arsenal last weekend.

Our Hammers fell to a 6-0 defeat which has angered many, and its now very much down the manager and players today to draw a line under the recent poor form and show that the club are fighting for a positive season conclusion with European football very much up for grabs.

David Moyes is expected to be brave and make the required changes to the lineup following the last 2 matches which has seen West Ham ship in 9 goals and not score a single 1.

Ahead of the match today, our Podcast co-hosts Dave Walker and ExWHUEmployee both agreed that a reaction is needed, with the atmosphere expected to turn toxic should another poor showing be realised today.

“We desperately need a reaction today,” said Walker. “I’m also expecting changes to be made after that disastrous display against Arsenal.

“Forest will see this as a game they can win and I think they will come at us early on. The first goal is important today”

Ex agreed, however feels a reaction is key, even if that is in the form of a draw, as the club seek to stop the rot and get back into form, especially with the Europa League set to resume next month.

“Today is a crucial game and we have to bounce back against Forest,” stated Ex. “Whilst a draw isn’t the end of the world a win would really help reset us and hopefully provide a good platform to kick on.

“I really hope that he makes changes though as we simply cannot go with the same side who played so poorly against Arsenal. I would expect to see at least 3/4 changes to give us a chance.”
