West Ham star Lucas Paqueta is apparently planning on suing the FA if he is found not guilty of betting charges.

Lucas Paqueta is one of those special players who you know will not be at West Ham for long but will forever be loved for the moments he gave fans.

After just a year of wearing claret and blue, the Brazilian looked set to move on as Manchester City were said to be preparing a bid. Fortunately for the Hammers, this never happened as Paqueta was caught up in a betting scandal surrounding some suspicious activities on betway accounts.

It is understood that he has been extremely cooperative with the FA and even handed his phone into them. Unsurprisingly though, the player has become extremely frustrated with how long the investigation is dragging on and is now considering pursuing legal action once a verdict has been reached, according to Football Insider.

Manchester City are said to be just one of a number of clubs who will try and acquire his services in the Summer, assuming he is found innocent.

Obviously, the Irons will be happy to see the situation drag on as long as possible in order to keep hold of their Brazilian Magnifico. At the same time no one will want him to grow unhappy.

If all goes well, it should not be long until we see Paqueta back on the pitch, but his time in East London could be coming to a close at the end of the season.
