West Ham may try and sell a £30 million flop in the Summer transfer window.

Since the turn of the year, West Ham have been in woeful form. Despite some extremely favourable games, they have failed to win a single one. While a number of players are struggling, there are some that have all but confirmed that they are not good enough for the level West Ham want to be at.

One such player is Nayef Aguerd. The Moroccan has shown glimpses of brilliance since moving to East London in 2022. Unfortunately, he always has that one massive mistake in him which holds him back. Particularly over the past 3 games, he has shown that he can be a real liability at the back.

Understandably, many fans have called for him to be dropped and it seems like the club may have seen enough of him too as The Sun have reported that they will look to sell him at the end of the season.

It is expected that the Irons will only sell him if they can make some sort of profit on him. With them paying £28 million to Rennes for his services, you’d expect the fee to be north of £30 million.

Unless he can really prove himself between now and the end of the season, it is hard to imagine any West Ham fan being against the idea of selling him. It is frustrating because there is evidently a sensational player in there somewhere, he just has not been anywhere near reaching the heights that we had hoped for.
