West Ham handed a massive injury boost ahead of their clash with Newcastle United.

Both Newcastle and West Ham are looking to secure another season of European football this season, and this weekend’s clash could be the deciding match for both teams.

A win for Newcastle sees them move just a point behind the Hammers in 7th with a game in hand, while a win for Moyes’ side means there is 7 points between them and the Geordies.

Much to the delight of West Ham, Newcastle are suffering through an awful injury crisis at this moment in time, with up to 8 of their first team players being unavailable.

The one they will be happiest with is Callum Wilson. Throughout his career, he has scored more goals against the Hammers than anyone else. He is definitely unavailable due to needing muscle surgery.

Nick Pope is out until the end of next month, Sven Botman is not going to be available until the end of the year due to a horrific ACL injury and Tonali is suspended due to his involvement in a betting scandal.

Alongside the definite absentees, Harvey Barnes, Kieran Trippier and Livramento are all massive doubts.

Even without the last three, the ball is very much in West Ham’s court. If they show up and perform how they are able to, there is no reason they can’t walk away from St James’ Park with all three points.
