West Ham today take on Manchester City in the firm knowledge that Arsenal are praying for a favour from the cockney boys.

David Moyes, who will manage the club for the final time today, leads his team into the game with a 9th place in the Premier League guaranteed and knowing that we can play a role in the title decider.

Should Manchester City match or better the result from the Arsenal vs Everton game, then the Citizens will lift a 4th consecutive Premier League trophy.

Our Podcast hosts Dave Walker and ExWHUEmployee have given their thoughts ahead of the game, with much anticipation expected from the north side of London.

“It’s a nothing game for us today, one that I think we can just enjoy without any pressure. Let’s hope we play with pride and see a good performance,” said Walker.

“I’ve gone from saying it’s a massive game for us each week to it’s a nothing game for US now. Of course in the grand scheme of things it’s a huge game for football. It’s ironic that Arsenal fans have gone from abusing us all year to now begging us to win.

“It would be nice for David Moyes to go out having achieved something like this but I cannot see it. We have stopped the red side of Manchester winning the league twice but I can’t see us doing it to the blues. As soon as the game is over we can’t rest and need to start recruiting for the new season,” added Ex.
