West Ham will be releasing the new 2024/25 season kits this summer, with ExWHUEmployee providing an update on the designs & release.
The club is entering a significant spell in its history this summer, as we look to significantly overhaul the squad under the new regime with Head Coach Julen Lopetegui working alongside Technical Director Tim Steidten.
It’s given fans much hope and excitement for the season ahead, as the club looks to continue its push to becoming a regular competitor at the higher ends of the table and seek to build on our trophy success a season ago.
As has been reported previously on The West Ham Way, the club will be again working with Umbro as our kit manufacturer, and the design for the kit is now complete with our club insider Ex providing insight for what the fans can expect.
Reporting on The West Ham Way Podcast, Ex has advised that the design looks to a more traditional West Ham look, while also reverting to a popular look for the away strip also.
“We understand that the photos and promo’s for the new kits are now done,” stated the Podcast co-host.
“There were a range of players from all levels, including the senior squad, women’s team and Academy to help with the photos and video productions.
“The home kit has reverted to the more traditional look, with a claret body and blue sleeves for the top – with the return of white shorts and socks.
“Also interestingly the club and Umbro have gone for an all-black away kit, which in recent years has proved very popular amongst the fans.
“At this stage we anticipate a mid June release of the designs from the club but that is to be confirmed.”
More details of the designs are expected to be revealed by Ex in the coming weeks on The West Ham Way Patreon.
