Yet another Brazilian has been linked with a move to West Ham ahead of the Summer transfer window.

For some reason, Tim Steidten seems to have developed an obsession with signing a Brazilian. The whole lead up to this transfer window has seen him out in the South American nation trying to secure a signature but, as of right now, he’s failed to do so.

However, he may have finally found one to bring back to East London, although he doesn’t actually play in the Brazilian league!

Rwan Seco is a 23-year-old striker who plays for Ludogorets in Bulgaria. In 32 league games this season, he scored a respectable 14 goals. According to UOL, he could set the Hammers back as just €9 million.

Assuming he’d be just a squad player, this is the sort of player who could turn out to be a crude signing. Unfortunately, when you have to hear what Brazilian fans have said about him it doesn’t seem like such a great deal. Since the rumours came out, they have ridiculed the Hammers for even showing interest in him, with some labelling him as the worst footballer they’ve ever seen.

While this is undoubtedly a massive stretch, it does make you wonder about the validity of these claims. If they are accurate though, then serious questions need to be asked about what the recruitment team have seen in him. His goal scoring record in Bulgaria is decent but, on paper, there’s nothing that suggests he’d be good enough for the Premier League.
